Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have experience in a food service-related industry
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work independently and in a team atmosphere and provide speedy, efficient, courteous, and tactful service
- The candidates should be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and stock a variety of merchandise
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be enrolled as a student at Algonquin College for Winter 2025 and knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- The candidates should have experience handling cash if applying for cashier positions and knowledge of food preparation
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to ensure that incoming food and grocery items are stocked and stored according to department policies
- The candidates should be able to sanitize all high-touch locations, including fridges, tables, counters, food service machines, and serving utensils and sweep, dust, wash dishes, and empty garbage receptacles
- The candidates should be able to cover co-worker service breaks and offer friendly and efficient service while preparing food as ordered by the customer
- The candidates should be able to ensure accuracy in the preparation of requested menu items while following required food safety processes and offer friendly and efficient service while operating the point of sale system
- The candidates should be able to ensure accuracy in transactions while maintaining a clean, sanitized, and stocked station and prepare food items for service, such as sandwich table items, grab-and-go products, and recipe ingredients for main course production
- The candidates should be able to offer friendly, efficient service while preparing food as ordered by the customer and ensure accuracy in the preparation of requested menu items while following required food safety processes
