Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, deep fryer, food dispensers, and grill

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, work overtime as required, manage physically demanding tasks, and handle repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be focused on client needs, efficient in interpersonal skills, and reliable
• The candidates should be team players

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables, and carry and replace linen
• The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and load buspans and trays
• The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and place dishes in storage areas
• The candidates should be able to replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
• The candidates should be able to scour pots and pans, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods
• The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
• The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, and take customers’ orders
• The candidates should be able to use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
• The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
• The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
• The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
• The candidates should be able to wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
