Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Stoney Creek, ON
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, urban area, rural area, landscape contractor, various locations, and park and recreation sites
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Backhoe, chain saw, gravel or dump truck, pick-up truck, roto-tiller, small engine equipment, and skid steer
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, safety glasses/goggles, and cellular phone
Security and safety: Bondable, driver’s validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work outdoors in wet/damp, noisy, and dusty conditions, and be comfortable in hot environments
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle repetitive tasks efficiently, and have experience with heavy loads and physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should possess attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, the ability to distinguish between colors accurately, and be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should also be able to stand for extended periods

- The candidates should demonstrate client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organization, reliability, and punctuality
- The candidates should be team players, prioritizing punctuality, and exhibit creativity

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, tie and secure plants, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- The candidates should be able to rake, collect refuse, lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
- The candidates should be able to water, tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
