Transportation information: Vehicle supplied by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Supervision: 3-4 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Landscape construction, Tree service
Equipment and machinery experience: Backhoe, chain saw, front end loader, pick-up truck, small engine equipment, and skid steer
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, even in hot conditions, and maintain productivity and focus
- The candidates should excel in a fast-paced environment, work efficiently under pressure to meet tight deadlines, and manage a large workload efficiently
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, performing physically demanding tasks, possess keen attention to detail, and be proficient in tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- The candidates should also be able to stand for extended periods without discomfort and accurately distinguish between colors
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, demonstrate initiative, possess judgment, and have excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to direct and organize the planting of trees, gardens, lawns, and construction projects such as decks and decorative walls
- The candidates should be able to resolve work problems, provide technical advice, estimate labor and materials, read blueprints, and maintain work records and logs
- The candidates should be able to plan, manage, supervise landscape construction work, repair and maintain equipment, and establish work schedules and procedures.
- The candidates should also be able to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
