Panorama Mountain Resort is a top destination for year-round outdoor recreation. It offers extensive ski slopes in winter and mountain biking, hiking, and golf in summer. Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to lift 60 lbs
  • The candidates should successfully complete the lift operations orientation or training session
  • The candidates should be available for full-time seasonal work
  • The candidates should be flexible with hours and able to function in a Guest Services capacity
  • The candidates should ensure the proper, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of guests
  • The candidates should inspect, record, and report the condition of all lift machinery
  • The candidates should play an important role in the daily interaction of guests utilizing the lifts

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The candidates should have guest service experience
  • The candidates should naturally provide excellent customer relations and have an extensive knowledge of current activities and events
  • The candidates should be able to knowledgeably and efficiently administer emergency procedures such as lift breakdown, evacuation, fire, avalanche, and accident reporting

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to actively direct the proper and efficient loading of guests of all ability levels through constant communication, awareness, and decision-making
  • The candidates should be able to monitor and assist the safe, proper, and efficient unloading of all guests
  • The candidates should be able to load mountain bikes upwards of 60 lbs and recommend the proper trails per the ability of the rider
  • The candidates should be able to execute the daily pre-operational inspection of lift machinery to accurately complete a legal lift-log document. Any irregularities should be reported to lift maintenance, and the log should be filed for future reference in the event of legal matters
  • The candidates should be able to foster excellent guest relations through positive interaction with guests each time they load to ensure their return visit
