Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual and Tagalog Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a non-smoking environment
- The candidates should be able to work in an employer’s home
- The candidates should be able to receive room and board provided by the employer
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
