Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of High School or GED
Experience: Candidates should have 1+ years experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of providing peer-to-peer tech support
- The candidates should have the ability to lead the team in meetings and projects
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should hold preferred certifications such as a valid Refrigeration, Electrician, Plumbing, or any relevant licenses issued by the province in which the work is performed
- The candidates should demonstrate leadership skills
- The candidates should possess effective communication skills
- The candidates should have experience in project management and stretch assignments
- The candidates should take ownership of facility location
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to respond to work orders for a wide variety of in-store equipment, including minor repairs of HVAC, refrigeration, hot beverage equipment coffee, cappuccino, cold beverage equipment tea, fountain machines, fountain or backroom ice makers, hot food equipment fryers, griddles, ovens roller grills, warmers, fuel dispensers printers, displays and card readers
- The candidates should be able to respond to work orders related to plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
- The candidates should be able to replace ‘plug and play’ equipment
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate at least 50% proficiency in Tech II duties and responsibilities
