Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field such as Marketing or Business Administration
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of relevant functional experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have excellent team building and leadership skills and experience
- The candidate should possess sound organizational, analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills with proven abilities in problem-solving
- The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain relationships are essential
- The candidate should demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- The candidate should be proficient computer skills and competence with Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Miro (or equivalent) are required
- The candidate should have experience working with technology-based products, leveraging product owner, design thinking, and agile delivery skills is considered an asset
- The candidate should have understanding of ecommerce, logistics, and/or reverse logistics is also considered an asset
- The candidate should have 2 or more years’ experience in a supervisory capacity
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to manage the development of product lines/solutions to achieve approved Corporate objectives for revenue, volume, mail preparation, and net contribution
- The candidates should review initiatives from other functions to ensure their acceptability from the point of view of product/solutions and operational impacts, and incorporate approved changes into product/solutions plans
- The candidates should monitor the effectiveness of the Corporation’s implementation of marketing, product/solutions, and pricing strategies and plans. Identify the cause of revenue and volume shortfall and recommend corrective action as appropriate
- The candidates should identify current and future market opportunities and threats and develop product/solution strategies as the primary input for the formulation of corporate strategies
- The candidates should develop integrated plans for each product/solutions line and cause Corporate functional authorities to be operationally specific in relation to the implementation of all aspects of the plans
- The candidates should be able to evaluate operational, financial, political, labour, social, and legal variables to produce solid price recommendations
- The candidates should coordinate the integration and establishment of sales targets, revenue and volume forecasts, supported by Rate Planning, Sales, and operating functions, by product line, origin, and destination, etc., as required for inclusion in strategic, corporate, and operating plans
- The candidates should act as the principal contact with manufacturers and national customer associations within a product/solutions line
- The candidates should plan and control budget expenditures in relation to product/solutions manufacture and purchase
- The candidates should ensure, through succession planning and training, a continuing development of competent management for Marketing and with potential for other assignments in CP
