Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring sanitary preparation, and wrap and package prepared meats, maintaining freshness and presentation, and cut carcasses, sides, and quarters accurately for efficient processing
- The candidates should be able to remove bones from meat with precision to prepare cuts for sale, weigh meats for sale to ensure accurate portion sizes, and cut poultry into parts as required by customer needs
- The candidates should be able to price meat products, setting correct prices for display, train meat cutters in safe and effective meat preparation techniques, slice cooked meats for display or sale, and prepare special orders to meet specific customer requests
