Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of master’s degree in Social Work
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Psychology
  • The candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in social work (clinical specialization) including education in mental health assessment and psychotherapy
  • The candidates should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy
  • The candidates should have a Master’s degree in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing including training and experience in mental health assessment and provision of psychotherapy
  • The candidates should be active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to use a variety of treatment modalities (individual, family, and group) for persons experiencing significant mental health difficulties
  • The candidates should be able to work both independently and as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
  • The candidates should be able to provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, case management and treatment
