Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 annually (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Purchasing, procurement and contracts
Project size estimating experience: $1,500,001 – $4,000,000
Computer and technology knowledge: Estimating packages, take-off packages, database, spreadsheet, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word
Security and safety: Bondable and basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should have attention to detail and the ability to distinguish between colors
- The candidates should be comfortable with sitting as needed
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused with excellent oral and written communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be organized team players
- The candidates should be proactive in their approach to tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare estimates of labor and/or material costs, and estimates for general expenses and overheads
- The candidates should be able to provide economic feasibility studies, preliminary estimates for proposed projects, and create estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
- The candidates should be able to utilize quantity take-off procedures, advise on tendering procedures, and analyze tenders to recommend awards
- The candidates should be able to monitor and adjust contract expenditures, prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors, and liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes to cost estimates
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
