Salary: $15.25 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: Montréal, QC
Shifts: Evening, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Employer’s home, Work in employer’s/client’s home
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years
Credentials: First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Drug test, Medical exam, Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smoking and willing to work overtime when required
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication
- The candidates should be flexible, reliable, show initiative, and be organized
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, discipline children according to parental methods, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment, organize activities for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and supervise and care for children while tending to their emotional well-being
