Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages:Â Hindi, Panjabi
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Own tools/equipment: Gloves, Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be willing to for overtime
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to work at wet/damp, noisy, odours, dusty, and cold/refrigerated area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to transport tools and equipment on push or hand cars
- The candidates should be able to check freight cars for physical damage and cleanliness
- The candidates should be able to assist trucks and delivery drivers to load and unload vehicles
- The candidates should be able to perform labouring duties in warehouses
