Salary: $17.00 hourly for 35 hours per week

Shifts: Evening, 16:15 to 23:45
Transportation information: Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security and safety: Medical exam

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a noisy environment and be capable of handling repetitive tasks, demonstrating attention to detail
  • The candidates should possess manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination, comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, dependable, and organized in their work, exhibiting reliability and being a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment, monitor and inspect the quality of material produced, and pack items for shipping and distribution
  • The candidates should be able to set up and operate extruding machines to extrude plastic compound through a nozzle or die, as well as set up and operate one or more molding machines to mold plastic products
  • The candidates should be able to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines, organize and maintain inventory, and trim and sand plastic or fiberglass parts
