MYCA FARMS LTD based in Langley, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Mushroom farm worker. MYCA FARMS LTD is a gourmet family mushroom farm located in Aldergrove just north of Highway 1 on 264th. We have been developing the methods of growing fine gourmet mushrooms using only soy husk and hardwood substrate. Our mushrooms take on some of the hardwood flavour and are power-packed with nutrition. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be reliable
- The candidates should be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean crop
- The candidates should be able to do grading
- The candidates should be able to plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops
- The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- The candidates should be able to examine produce for quality and prepare for market
- The candidates should be able to clean the work area
