Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year

Candidate Status:

• Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the safety and well-being of the children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, maintaining consistency and respect
• The candidates should be able to instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, fostering healthy habits and interpersonal skills, and keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children accurately and confidentially
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, identifying and addressing potential hazards, organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting physical activity and social interaction, and prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of the children
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children attentively, providing guidance and support as needed, and take children to and from school and to appointments punctually and safely, ensuring their transportation needs are met
