Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Green economy sector
Equipment and machinery experience: Chain Saw, Forklift, Garden Tractors, Irrigation Pumps And Equipment, Mechanical Cultivator, And Mechanical Sprayer
Own tools/equipment: Steel-Toed Safety Boots And Gloves

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks and handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods and bend, crouch, kneel
• The candidates should be able to manage a large workload and pay attention to detail and have hand-eye coordination
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to bud trees and clean the crops and cut horticultural crops
• The candidates should be able to mix fertilizer and weed and spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides
• The candidates should be able to assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants and mix and prepare soils and pot and re-pot plants
• The candidates should be able to transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings and apply fertilizers and report signs of insect or disease damage
• The candidates should be able to assist in grafting activities and dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs and water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• The candidates should be able to clean work area and clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
