Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as baking and pastry arts/baker/pastry chef, college/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Food specialties: Desserts and pastries
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
- The candidates should be able to bake mixed dough and batters
- The candidates should be able to frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
- The candidates should be able to draw up production schedules
- The candidates should be able to train staff, ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
- The candidates should be able to schedule staff, operate machinery
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory
