Salary: $23.00 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers and physically fit to meet demanding tasks, capable of performing bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, as well as with sitting for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and walk as necessary, while being prepared for repetitive tasks and able to handle weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit punctuality and dependability in fulfilling their responsibilities, demonstrating reliability in their duties
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong focus on client satisfaction, possessing efficient interpersonal skills and excellent oral communication abilities
- The candidates should be flexible in their approach to tasks, demonstrating initiative in problem-solving and exercising good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be highly organized, patient in dealing with various situations, and uphold honesty and integrity in their work
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care, including administering medications and changing non-sterile dressings
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, as well as in water activities such as pool assistance
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, such as walks, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to collect specimens and feed or assist in feeding, while also performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and cook nutritious meals
