Salary: $19.00 to $20.40 hourly (To be negotiated) for 56 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Fredericton, NB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Pharmacy technician certification and CPR Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks, and work under pressure
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail and able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be dependable, have excellent oral communication skills, and be organized
  • The candidates should have the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to enter client information in databases, maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, and maintain prescription records
  • The candidates should be able to prepare medications for clients, prepare and maintain equipment and supplies, and record vital signs
  • The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment, administer medications, and observe and record medication’s therapeutic and side effects
