Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be comfortable working in wet/damp conditions as required by the job and be physically fit to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as necessary for job duties, demonstrating hand-eye coordination skills for tasks requiring precision and accuracy

Other Requirements:

The candidates should demonstrate accuracy in their work, ensuring precision and correctness in all tasks, and possess efficient interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems, and install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
The candidates should be able to locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors, and cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
The candidates should be able to join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment, schedule personnel, tools, and equipment, and test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
The candidates should be able to determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing, and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
