Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory controls and management systems
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
- The candidates should be focused on teamwork and collaboration and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should ensure that their actions in their function support the manufacture of products meeting the quality and food safety criteria defined by the company
- The candidates should ensure compliance with the requirements of the SQF Food Safety Code and promptly report any food safety issues to authorized personnel
- The candidates should possess a DEC in administration, preferably with a focus on supplies and purchasing
- The candidates should have excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- The candidates should have knowledge of ERP systems and inventory systems and demonstrate excellent organizational skills
- The candidates should possess strong and effective communication skills and be perfectly bilingual in French and English
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist in purchasing items required for production and other services throughout the company
- The candidates should be able to interact with suppliers, establishing and maintaining cordial and professional relationships and validate sales confirmations, conditions, and delivery dates
- The candidates should be able to track vendors on outstanding purchase orders and update item data, including price lists and specifications
- The candidates should be able to obtain and maintain all relevant documents and databases for all purchasing categories and generate inventory reports for analysis
- The candidates should be able to ensure that their actions in their role support the manufacturing of products with the quality and food safety criteria defined by the company and perform other related tasks
