Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French and English Language

Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract formation, execution, and management
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have a proven ability to work with vendors and internal stakeholders to drive resolution on issues and bring value to the organization
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in procurement and managing large tender processes, preferably in the mining or project-based sectors
- The candidates should have technical knowledge of contract law, claims, and holdback processes and possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- The candidates should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders
- The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and team commitment
- The candidates should demonstrate technical knowledge in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering and construction
- The candidates should be proficient in SAP S4 Hana, be bilingual in French and English and demonstrate outstanding attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate timely delivery of procurement contracts in collaboration with the corporate legal team and project stakeholders
- The candidates should be able to administer, coordinate, and process purchasing instruments (contracts, purchase orders, amendments, change orders), ensuring consistency and compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and applicable legislation
- The candidates should be able to lead the creation of contracting strategies, including preparation and execution of RFx/Tender processes and oversee pre-award reviews, finalize post-award contracts, manage amendments, and oversee the closure of contracts
- The candidates should be able to negotiate contract terms and renewals in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders and manage the end-to-end RFP process, including vendor selection, bid evaluation, negotiation, and adjudication
- The candidates should be able to stay informed about global market trends and their potential impact on procurement strategies for goods and services and identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities to achieve organizational and site-specific cost reduction targets
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate and comprehensive contract documentation throughout the contract lifecycle and monitor and ensure compliance with corporate sourcing strategies, procurement policies, and contractual obligations
- The candidates should be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and third-party service providers to meet project requirements and identify process improvement opportunities and act as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to address and resolve contract-related issues
- The candidates should be able to support the ongoing development and implementation of best practices in sourcing strategies, contract management processes, and procurement policies and identify areas for improvement in contract formation and administration to enhance efficiency and compliance
- The candidates should be able to maintain confidentiality of all corporate information and data and perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support organizational objectives
