D-Pace, Inc. based in Nelson, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Production head. D-Pace, Inc. supplies products and services to the international commercial accelerator industry. Our areas of expertise include beamline systems, beam diagnostic devices, and ion sources for research, industrial, and commercial accelerator systems. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Work setting: In shop, Manufacturing or production
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products
- The candidates should be able to direct quality control inspections
- The candidates should be able to plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
- The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
