Salary: $16.75 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 120 to 160 hours per month
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Vancouver, BC
Transportation information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, and Public transportation is available
Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to work in cold or refrigerated environments
• The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and be comfortable standing for extended periods
• The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• The candidates should be physically fit for demanding tasks and able to handle weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be reliable team players

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, and manually pack goods into bags, boxes, or other containers
• The candidates should be able to check products and packaging for basic quality defects and clean machines and immediate work areas
