Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Sarnia, ON
Shifts: 08:00 to 16:30
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Manufacture
Supervision: 5-10 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Area of specialization: Occupational health and safety, Quality assurance or control
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS Word
Security and safety: Bondable

  • The candidates should be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors

  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should be able to handle a large workload

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate and prioritize client focus
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exhibit excellent oral communication
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent written communication, be organized, and function effectively as team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish programs and conduct studies to enhance industrial health and safety or to identify and correct fire and other hazards
  • The candidates should be able to develop maintenance standards, schedules, and programs
