Family Plus based in Saint John, NB is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Receptionist-clerk. Family Plus is a non-profit organization which offers a range of programs and services designed to promote healthy families and individuals. Our services include counseling and therapy for individuals and families, support for new parents, assistance with housing and financial management, and youth programming. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Student status: Full time enrollment, Part time enrollment – Student Jobs
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic scheduler, Database software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, MS Outlook, MS Word
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be client focus, organized, flexible, reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

  • The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
