Work setting: Nursing home/home for the aged, Willing to relocate
Supervision: 16-20 people

Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse by the province/territory of work, First Aid Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities, Licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse by provincial authorities, CPR Certificate
Security and safety: Adult Abuse Registry check, Criminal record check, Immunization records
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- The candidates should be able to collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care
- The candidates should be able to deliver immunization programs
- The candidates should be able to dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, provide nursing care
- The candidates should be able to monitor, assess, address, document and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions
- The candidates should be able to operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment, supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
- The candidates should be able to provide consultative services regarding issues relevant to nursing profession and nursing practice
