Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of current CPR certification
Experience: Candidates should have up to 6 months of experience in general nursing practice

- The candidates should have the ability to work independently and with a multi-disciplinary team

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide nursing care on units across Homewood Specialized Services
- The candidates should be able to contribute to fluctuating patient care needs according to CNO standards, RNAO Best Practice Guidelines, specific program philosophy, and diversified patient populations
- The candidates should be able to receive patient assignments and follow care plans accordingly
- The candidates should be able to administer psychiatric and non-psychiatric medications and treatments
- The candidates should be able to ensure necessary clinical assessments are initiated following admission and at various other times and Mental Status Exam
- The candidates should be able to engage with interdisciplinary teams and individual team members as appropriate
- The candidates should be able to act as a preceptor, mentor, coach, or resource nurse as appropriate
- The candidates should be able to participate in clinical discussions, team meetings, and patient or family conferences
- The candidates should be able to accept changing work assignments across Homewood Specialized Services as required and directed by the supervisor and delegate
