Salary: $29.02 to $29.29 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate, and CPR Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure, manage physically demanding tasks, and have manual dexterity
  • The candidates should have attention to detail and be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be client-focused, dependable, and reliable
  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills, and interpersonal awareness
  • The candidates should be flexible, organized, and team players
  • The candidates should uphold values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, and provide nursing services within the defined scope of practice based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team
