Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Palliative care
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
Security and safety: Immunization Records And Vulnerable Sector Check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks and demonstrate manual dexterity and pay attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, walking

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to provide nursing services, within defined scope of practice, to patients based on patient assessment and care planning procedures
  • The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
