Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of PHD Degree in computer science
Experience: Candidates should have 4+ years of industry, academic, or government lab experience in computer vision and deep learning

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should obtain a work permit in the country of employment on the date of hire and maintain such permit for the duration of employment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a publication record in top-tier venues such as ICCV, CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML and ICLR
  • The candidates should demonstrate software engineering experience through previous work experience
  • The candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • The candidates should possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • The candidates should have more than four years of industrial experience in computer vision and deep learning
  • The candidates should have research experience in one or more of these areas: computer vision, video comprehension, and self-supervised learning
  • The candidates should have experience developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in Python and PyTorch
  • The candidates should be able to apply knowledge of relevant research domains along with expert coding skills to platform and framework development projects

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop highly scalable algorithms based on machine learning and neural network methodologies
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with FAIR scientists on novel research in self-supervised learning and computer vision
  • The candidates should be able to contribute to experimental design, implementation, evaluation, analysis, and reporting of research results
