Salary: $18.00 to $35.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – On the road job
Location: 4140-95 Street NW Edmonton, AB T6E 6H5
Shifts: Early Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation and Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year 
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, Steel-toed safety boots, and Hard hat
Credentials: Electrician Trade Certification, Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, and Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be willing to work outdoors as needed, prepared to work in dusty environments when required
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as necessary and be prepared for physically demanding tasks while demonstrating attention to detail in their work

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and schedules while maintaining an organized work style to manage tasks efficiently, and be team players capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes proficiently, splice, join, and connect wires accurately and safely, and test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults to ensure the integrity of circuits
  • The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems effectively, connect power to audio and visual equipment according to specifications, and install surface mount and/or overhead cables securely
  • The candidates should be able to install power generation, stand-by power generation, and power conditioning systems proficiently, ground and bond electrical equipment, systems, and structures in compliance with safety standards, and renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures with precision
  • The candidates should be able to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately to complete tasks effectively
