Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a degree in education and nursing
Experience: Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of  experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have previous experience in an adult teaching or educator or training role
  • The candidates should have an equivalent combination of education and experience and ISTP certification
  • The candidates should have prior experience working in a regulated environment and technical skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should have knowledge of all Donor Centre programs, including whole blood, autologous, directed, and apheresis
  • The candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to utilize their expertise on operating procedures and regulatory requirements to coordinate training needs by identifying staff training requirements
  • The candidates should be able to leverage their excellent coaching skills to deliver related content and facilitate training classrooms effectively
  • The candidates should be able to draw on their knowledge or experience of all Donor Centre programs to contribute to the development and modification of the national training program, including training standards development and documentation
  • The candidates should be able to utilize their superior interpersonal and communication skills to assist with the implementation of new projects and processes
  • The candidates should be able to maintain a continuous improvement mindset and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice to identify and periodically perform procedures that maintain competency and efficiency in training requirements
