Subway based in Yellowknife, NT is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Restaurant cashier. Subway is offering vegetarian and vegan options, as well as healthier alternatives to traditional fast-food fare. We have also implemented initiatives to reduce our environmental impact by introducing sustainable packaging and sourcing practices. Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate cash register, scan items
- The candidates should be able to process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments
- The candidates should be able to tabulate total payment for goods or services required
- The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services, calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- The candidates should be able to suggestive selling, stock shelves and clean counter area
- The candidates should be able to wrap or place merchandise in bags, greet customers
- The candidates should be able to monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary, provide customer service
