Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Retail store
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate, have a client-focused approach and possess efficient interpersonal skills, and excellent oral communication abilities and demonstrate flexibility
  • The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player
  • The candidates should show initiative and exhibit excellent written communication
  • The candidates should be dependable, exercise good judgment, and have the ability to multitask

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assign sales workers to duties
  • The candidates should be able to hire and train or arrange for training of staff
  • The candidates should be able to authorize the return of merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to sell merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory
  • The candidates should be able to resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate activities of workers
  • The candidates should be able to supervise staff (apprentices, stagehands, design team, etc.)
