Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a licensed Electrician in a diverse environment

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates are required to meet the physical demands of the job, including weights of up to 23kg, heights of 106m, frequent standing, walking, twisting, reaching, bending, crawling, and the ability to work with ladders

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess strong written and oral communication skills
  • The candidates should hold a valid Ontario driver’s license
  • The candidates must have experience with Rockwell software, such as Logix500, Logix5000, and Studio5000
  • The candidates should be experienced with Allen-Bradley PLC controllers such as ControlLogix, CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and SLC500
  • The candidates should demonstrate the ability to work from manuals and blueprints
  • The candidates should have the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • The candidates should have own tools and safety boots
  • The candidates should be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be responsible for the preventative maintenance program of the designated area
  • The candidates should be able to assist with all service calls efficiently while on-duty
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that all necessary tools, parts, and supplies for each job are available
  • The candidates should be capable of installing, rebuilding, and/or repairing equipment as specified
  • The candidates should maintenance of all required service records, reports, and logs for the designated rides area
  • The candidates should be able to identify and report all potential improvements, modifications, and upgrades
  • The candidates should be able to ensuring the safe operation of each work area and work project
