Salary: $38.00 to $45.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: North York, ON
Work setting: Hospital/medical facility or clinic
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials: Intravenous (IV) therapy Certification, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to meet tight deadlines, and work effectively under pressure

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should prioritize client satisfaction and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should be flexible in adapting to changing situations, show initiative in their work, and be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities
  • The candidates should work well in a team and possess good time management skills

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients’ condition, address and document symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions, and assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
  • The candidates should be able to collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families, dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, and provide nursing care
  • The candidates should be able to conduct research and perform administrative tasks
