Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Shingled roofs, conventional and inverted built-up system, modified roofing system, rigid pre-formed roofing system, single-ply sheet membrane roofing system, tiled roofs, skylights
Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be experienced in working at heights, demonstrating the necessary safety protocols and comfort with elevated work environments, as well as being comfortable working outdoors and adapting to varying weather conditions and outdoor work environments
- The candidates should be accustomed to working in noisy conditions, showcasing the ability to focus and communicate effectively in a loud environment
- The candidates should be familiar with working in dusty environments, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and have experience in handling dangerous tasks, showcasing a commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
- The candidates should be adept at working in a fast-paced environment, managing a large workload efficiently, and meeting deadlines
- The candidates should be physically capable of handling bending, crouching, and kneeling, demonstrating agility and flexibility in performing tasks, and be familiar with repetitive tasks, emphasizing consistency and attention to detail
- The candidates should be experienced in handling heavy loads, showcasing strength and the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), as well as capable of lifting objects of the same weight, demonstrating physical strength and the ability to handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure, showcasing resilience and a calm demeanor in challenging situations, and be comfortable with a physically demanding job, demonstrating stamina and endurance
Other Requirements:

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level, and install sheet metal flashings
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, or replace built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel, as well as install, repair, or replace shingles, shakes, and other roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
- The candidates should be able to install, repair, or replace a single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions
