Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completed secondary education
Experience: Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience related to building maintenance

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should demonstrate effective communication skills within the work environment, including among guests and employees
  • The candidates should have access to and be capable of using basic hand tools and be physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a valid BC driver’s license and provide a satisfactory motor vehicle record check
  • The candidates should possess knowledge of residential and multi-family plumbing and mechanical systems

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to respond to work requests related to lodging units promptly and efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to perform preventative maintenance tasks for condos and hotel interiors to ensure optimal functioning
  • The candidates should be able to identify damages and potential maintenance issues, demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to maintain and repair all residential appliances within lodging units
  • The candidates should be able to provide support to maintenance staff and respond immediately to guest requests
  • The candidates should be able to assist outside contractors and address other tasks as required within the lodging department
