Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should hold a university honors degree in Journalism, Communications, or Science Communications
Experience: Candidates should have at least five years of progressive experience in communications and marketing, ideally within an academic setting

- The candidates should demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, build consensus, and communicate effectively while being sensitive to the needs and interests of diverse stakeholders
- The candidates should exhibit exceptional initiative, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing high-quality client service to administration, faculty, senior external stakeholders, and the diplomatic community
- The candidates should understand university culture and environment to effectively navigate academic settings
- The candidates should be proficient in using MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Content Management Systems, social media analytics tools, Google Analytics, SEO/SEM, and email, social media, or display advertising campaigns and optimization
- The candidates should preferably have a minor focus or coursework in STEM-related fields and experience in social media promotion, writing, editing, and communications and prior experience with science-related subject matter to support specialized communication efforts effectively
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support the development and maintenance of the Faculty of Science’s annual communication plan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
- The candidates should be able to produce and evaluate strategic communications for print and digital platforms, as well as manage the Faculty’s social media presence effectively
- The candidates should be able to collaborate with events, outreach, and decanal teams to advertise and promote internal and external Science initiatives successfully
- The candidates should be able to attend Faculty and University events held on and off campus, both online and in person, including occasional nights and weekends, ensuring proper representation of the Faculty
- The candidates should be able to ensure all materials maintain the highest standards, consistent messaging, accurate information, and quality presentation, reflecting a unified visual identity aligned with the University’s reputation
