Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have 3+ years of technology/software sales experience
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be equipped with customer-facing skills to effectively represent AWS within a customer’s environment. This includes the ability to present cloud computing concepts and architectures to diverse audiences and facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical customer personnel at all levels of an organization
- The candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, mission, product, complex architectures, and technical challenges from a customer perspective and it requires a minimum of 10+ years of professional or military experience
- The candidates should have practical experience in architecting or deploying Cloud/Virtualization solutions specifically tailored for enterprise customers
- The candidates should have experience in the National Security, Defence, or Public Safety industries
- The candidates should have a proven track record in architecting solutions that demand high levels of security and compliance, such as the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security Medium Cloud Profile
- The candidates should have possession of a Government of Canada Secret Level II clearance or the ability to obtain one and have AWS Cloud Professional level certifications to demonstrate expertise in cloud computing
- The candidates should have past experience working for a National Security, Defence, or Public Safety organization
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to partner with customers, sales, and other AWS technical teams to craft highly secure and resilient architectures that address customer mission challenges
- The candidates should be able to help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud solutions
- The candidates should be able to seek out opportunities to broaden the use of AWS across customer organizations
- The candidates should be able to play a critical role in the widespread adoption and advancement of cloud computing capabilities within the public sector
- The candidates should be able to think outside of the box to deliver results to our customers and provide solutions that are cost-effective, time-saving, and secure
- The candidates should be able to solve problems at both the mission and technical levels by working backward from customer requirements
