Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register and Point of sale system
Security and safety: Bondable

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed while working in a fast-paced environment and handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be available for overtime as required and be able to perform physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and work under pressure while handling weights
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and address customers’ complaints or concerns
• The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers’ cheques, or room billings while also describing menu items, including daily specials
• The candidates should be able to advise on menu selections and describe and advise on wine selection
• The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages while serving food and beverages
• The candidates should be able to take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff and assist clients/guests with special needs while providing excellent customer service
