Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Vietnamese
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be physically capable of handling demanding tasks, including handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be capable of working under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility and be organized
- The candidates should be reliable and team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages and should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally
- The candidates should be able to present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travelers’ checks, or room billings accurately, and describe menu items, including daily specials, for customers effectively
- The candidates should be able to balance cash and record sales meticulously, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs promptly, and greet patrons warmly, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages courteously
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages efficiently, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff accurately, and provide excellent customer service throughout their interactions
