Arby’s Cranbrook based in Cranbrook, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Shift manager – fast food restaurant. Arby’s Cranbrook is a popular fast-food restaurant known for its signature roast beef sandwiches and a variety of other hearty menu items. As part of the Arby’s franchise, this location offers a range of sandwiches, salads, and sides, all prepared with a focus on quality and flavor. Salary: $18.50 to $19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Cranbrook, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible Hours, Morning
Supervision: 3-4 people, Food service counter attendants and food preparers, and Kitchen and food service helpers

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently
  • The candidates should be attentive to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills and be flexible
  • The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and address customers’ complaints or concerns
  • The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage and prepare and submit reports
