Supervision: 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, walk as part of their tasks, and manage physically demanding tasks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, communicate effectively in oral form, and show flexibility
  • The candidates should be able to work as a team player

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • The candidates should be able to estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, hire food service staff, and ensure food and service meet quality control standards
  • The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports
  • The candidates should be able to prepare food order summaries for the chef, have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres, supervise and check assembly of trays, and establish work schedules
