Mission Services of London is a non-profit organization which offers a range of services and programs to support individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction, and other challenges. Salary: $26.00 to $34.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week

: Day
Transportation information: Own transportation, Willing to travel, Own vehicle, Travel expenses paid by employer, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Social service or charity agency
Supervision: 11-15 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years’
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines with attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, client focus, dependable, organized, initiative, flexible, reliable, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, interpersonal awareness, and be able to work as a team player
  • The candidate should have values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supervise professional and support staff and students
  • The candidates should be able to plan and co-ordinate social services, provide staff training
  • The candidates should be able to perform administrative tasks, counsel individuals on daily-life issues
  • The candidates should be able to conduct surveys and analyze data
  • The candidates should be able to deliver presentations at conferences, workshops or symposia
