Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker

Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare tenders and quotations, supervise other workers, apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints, clean and prepare surfaces, fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
- The candidates should be able to fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife, finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required, measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- The candidates should be able to mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency, mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices and trim
- The candidates should be able to smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, trowel or spray coats of stucco over exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
- The candidates should be able to cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets, install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath, install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied, work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages

- The candidates should be able to utilize laser alignment system, estimate costs and materials, read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications, erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms
