Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials:Â Member of the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE), Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, and Montessori Early Childhood Teacher Certificate
Security and safety: Immunization records and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and bend, crouch, and kneel
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should exhibit flexibility, have strong interpersonal awareness, and demonstrate reliability
- The candidates should be a team player, adhere to values and ethics, and display creativity
Candidate Status:

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, and engage in storytelling
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers, assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote child development, and lead activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
- The candidates should be able to order supplies and equipment, assist early childhood educators or supervisors in keeping records, and encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity
- The candidates should be able to engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts, guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, and prepare snacks while arranging rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
- The candidates should be able to observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems, prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors, and submit written observations to early childhood educators or supervisors
- The candidates should be able to discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings, understand licensing regulations, and establish guidelines for behavior
- The candidates should be able to attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems, establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers, and plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- The candidates should be able to supervise and coordinate the activities of other early childhood educators and early childhood educator assistants
