Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, Computer engineering, other, Electrical and electronics engineering, and Mechanical engineering
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Level of expertise: Engineer
Type of industry experience: Energy
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
Area of specialization: Power distribution and transmission lines
Sales experience: Electrical and electronic equipment

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a client-focused approach and possess efficient interpersonal skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication and maintain a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to promote sales to existing clients and identify potential clients
  • The candidates should be able to assess clients’ needs and resources to recommend appropriate goods or services, and deliver sales presentations
  • The candidates should be able to conduct sales transactions and use sales forecasting software, estimating prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • The candidates should be able to provide input into product design to suit client’s needs and consult with clients after the sale for ongoing support
  • The candidates should be able to reach out to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support, and train customers’ staff in equipment operation and maintenance
  • The candidates should be able to resolve product and service related problems, and supervise activities of other technical sales specialists
